Caring for your Sterling Silver Jewellery
925 silver is an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other, usually copper. Other metals can replace copper, if you have any allergies please bare this in mind before buying.
All silver will tarnish if left exposed to the air and unworn. Do not store your silver jewellery exposed to damp places i.e. bathroom or kitchen. Storing your jewellery in tarnish prevention cloth or pouch will help keep them in pristine condition.
Please be aware that all silver oxidizes and can leave disappointing marks. To prevent this take off your silver jewellery when going swimming or to the gym, also showering then using beauty products i.e deodorant sprays, hair dyes and perfume
Put on your silver jewellery AFTER you have used any of the beauty products mentioned above. It is also advisable to take off jewellery at night. Following these steps will help to keep the lustre and shine.
